Four affected by poisoning in a high school in Barinas

Following the situation recorded this Friday, at the Colinas del Llano high school, located in the Ciudad Varyná urbanization, in the city of Barinas, the authorities reported a total of four students affected by the inhalation of alleged toxic substances.

According to the minutes of the security and prevention agencies, of the four victims, two female and two male, aged 13 and 15, one was transferred to the Dr. Luis Razetti hospital in a Civil Protection ambulance. While three other affected people arrived at the healthcare center and were taken by their parents.

The symptoms were fainting, headache, dizziness, dyspnea, among others.

This event occurs in a context where the institution had already been the scene of two similar incidents at the beginning of the year, which were investigated as a result of the intentional dispersal of toxic substances. The authorities are seeking to clarify whether today’s event is related to previous events or is due to a new cause.

The Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps carries out the corresponding investigation of the case.
