The jokes, teasing and humorous comments made their ownimmediately after the president made the statement together with the mayor of the Atlantic capital, Jaime Pumarejo.
“There is a sports project that Mayor Pumarejo wants to promote. It is a dream, but we are capable of making dreams come true as a team. The mayor tells me: There is a possibility that Colombia could present a project to have a circuit in Formula One. That seems very distant, very distant, but the mayor has already been in talks with the Formula One management team,” the president said at an event this Saturday.
