Former prosecutor and former vice minister of internal security Javier Ibarra passed away. After he resigned as vice minister in 2016, he was assigned to the anti-kidnapping unit of the Prosecutor’s Office
Currently living in San Lorenzo, he was separated from his wife, who was also a fiscal agent. His body was found on Friday morning at his home in the university city.
His body will be inspected by forensics to find out the causes of his death. The presumption says that it was a heart attack, but a homicide is not ruled out. He himself was going through a depressive picture as reported on 730 AM.
Ibarra had denounced in January 2016 that members of organized crime were following her children, for which she acquired weapons to reinforce her security.
