Former Tamaulipas Welfare Secretary arrested in SLP

Rómulo Garza Martínez, Secretary of Welfare of Tamaulipas, during the administration of former governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, is accused of illicit use of powers and powers.

The Attorney General’s Office of the State of San Luis Potosí (FGESLP) reported the completion, in collaboration with the Tamaulipas Prosecutor’s Office, of an arrest warrant against Rómulo “N” for the crime of illicit use of powers and powers.

Rómulo Garza Martínez, former Secretary of Welfare in Tamaulipas, during the administration of former governor Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, was arrested this Friday in Ciudad Valles, San Luis Potosí.

The former state official is accused of the alleged diversion of 125 million pesos intended for the purchase of groceries, for which he is being investigated for the crimes of illicit use of powers and powers.
