“The subway will reach here, to Capira,” former Panamanian president Ricardo Martinelli promised this Saturday, accompanied by deputy Yanibel Ábrego, during a meeting with the leaders of Cambio Democrático in the Cermeño sector.
Martinelli, expressed that he would be a candidate for the presidency “rain, thunder or lightning.” He stressed that everything he promised during the campaign, he fulfilled when he was president. Now, he wants to leave a legacy alongside Ábrego in Capira in case he wins the elections again in 2024.
“I am going to do what I have to do to reach that presidency and give Panamanians back the opportunity to dream and be what they want to be,” he emphasized.
