Former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) arrived at Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport, in Brasília, at 6:40 am this Thursday (30), coming from Orlando, in the United States.
The return of the former president to Brazil takes place three months after his departure, on December 30, two days before leaving the Presidency of the Republic.
Due to the Federal Police security scheme, Bolsonaro did not leave through the usual arrivals hall and used an alternative route.
Hundreds of supporters of the former president arrived at dawn at the airport’s international arrivals area and squeezed themselves into the railings that delimited the space, armed with flags and posters.
While guarding, supporters sang the National Anthem and shouted slogans. Press vehicles were verbally harassed by those present.
The security scheme for the Military Police of the Federal District, prepared in previous meetings, was commanded by Major Delatorres. “It started at 00:00 today. Blocking points were set up at the accesses to the airport. So, people can be sure that today there won’t be a problem”, stated the commander.
