Former President Fernando Henrique Cardoso suffered an accident and fractured his femur. According to the PSDB, the party of which he is honorary president, FHC was hospitalized in São Paulo.
“We wish President Fernando Henrique Cardoso a speedy recovery, who was hospitalized today for a fractured femur. Receive the hug from the toucans from all over Brazil”, said the party on a social network late last night (11).
FHC was President of the Republic for two terms, from 1994 to 2002, constituent senator, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Finance. He is currently president of the Fernando Henrique Cardoso Institute (IFHC).
