Former President Fernando Henrique Cardoso is discharged from hospital

Former president FHC fractures his femur and is hospitalized in São Paulo

In a bulletin released today (19), the Albert Einstein Hospital informs that the former president of the Republic Fernando Henrique Cardoso was discharged this Saturday.

The patient is in stable clinical condition and will follow treatment at home. The former president had an accident at home and fractured his femur.

The bulletin is signed by doctors José Medina Pestana, nephrologist, and Miguel Cendoroglo Neto, Medical Superintendent Director of the hospital.

FHC was President of the Republic for two terms, from 1994 to 2002, constituent senator, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Finance. He is currently president of the Fernando Henrique Cardoso Foundation.
