PAN must be ready and on time: Adame
“The former governors of the PAN who came on behalf of United for Mexico… have been in meetings in the last two years concerned about the proposals that the party and the country need, mainly to face the problems not only electoral but in favor of democracy. Mexican and the process of change that Mexico needs”, planted the federal deputy Adame.
Recalling that PAN is today the main opposition force, he commented that the objective is “to set the party in motion and in the right direction to be on time; to be an alternative that contributes to having a viable proposal in the next elections, both in the 23rd in the states of Mexico and Coahuila, and in the federal ones on the 24th”.
To do this, he insisted that the party and its structures must be strengthened, opened up to society, and clean house. In short, put it in order “so that it is ready and on time”.
“Now that there is an early succession; at least in the official party there is already a whole movement (with the so-called corcholatas of Morena, Claudia Sheinbaum, Marcelo Ebrard, Adán Augusto López and Ricardo Monreal) and the PAN cannot remain stunned and oblivious to the possibility of proposing and contributing ”, highlighted the legislator.
Governors ratify alliance policy
To put the party in motion, the 13 PAN leaders grouped in United for Mexico, propose to the national leadership:
-Promote candidacies of profiles with an ethical, solvent, competitive trajectory and with a clear citizen commitment.
-Explore and promote coalitions that guarantee a public commitment to the common good agenda and the best results for society.
-Close ranks in the PAN and with civil society organizations that are in favor of a democratic, popular and civic alternative, strengthening the militancy, the party structures to face the challenges of the elections of 23 and 24.
The objective is to have competitive candidates in 2023 and 2024 and “go throughout the national territory summoning, calling, joining with all forces to build a citizen alliance that sets the tone,” explained Adame Castillo.
“We have the possibility of contributing to a process of mobilizing leaders of the party and society, what we call Dialogues for the country, that is, a series of stages in which the issues on the public agenda in Mexico are openly discussed, debate about them, clearly identify the great demands and needs that exist to guarantee a correct course for the country, democratic of course”, he pointed out.
“And as the process progresses and within the framework of the law, then these leaderships, their profiles, their capacities are known, through which the best option can be assessed at the time” to arrive with the best proposal in the 24 .
