Former officials of the Ministry of Housing and Territorial Planning (MIVIOT) continue protesting and with the street closed, on Via España, at the height of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) to demand once again the payment of the seniority premium and other benefits that they are owed.
According to Daniela Garibaldi, one of the former employees, they have been waiting for this payment for a year and eight months.

“Mr. Paredes, the minister (of MIVIOT), signed that he was going to pay 670 checks this year and the other year he was going to start paying the others,” he said, indicating that the Comptroller sent them to MIVIOT and from there to MEF, guaranteeing that they would make the payments but for more than a year they have not received any positive response.
“Many people here are sick and need their money,” he said, assuring that they will continue with the closures until Minister Paredes comes to give them a solution.
