The former director of Legal Counsel of the Urban and Home Cleaning Authority, Jorge “Memin” Carrasquilla, in an exclusive interview with Radio Panama spoke about his recent dismissal from the institution, according to his words, by orders of the Presidency due to his support for the candidacy of the presidential candidate for the PRD, Crispiano Adames.
«For the first time in our party there is a condition as it is, in previous administrations call yourself Ernesto Pérez Balladares, Martín Torrijos had not seen such persecution, it may be because there is no competition like the one that exists at the moment between the vice president of the Republic, José Gabriel Carrizo and the president of the National Assembly Crispiano Adames”, said Carrasquilla
Regarding whether there was any valid excuse for his dismissal, Carrasquilla said that he has always done his job but this is due to his support for the candidacy of Crispiano Adames «If we have seen permanent political persecution not only with me, but with our colleagues We are concerned because we do not know the future of the party if we continue in this situation in this persecution with the compañeros because, listening to the declarations of the compañero Gaby Carrizo, I speak of the family, unity, that he needed all the compañeros and that contradicts all this speech ».
Regarding the possibility of a reconsideration to resume his position, Carrasquilla, I believe that these acts of dismissing people who think differently cause more division and rancor within the party: “I don’t know if the vice president has analyzed it, but they are not doing it well, because they are spreading hatred within the vice president’s campaign and spreading the hatred of party comrades, we call on the government, perhaps these are not their decisions but rather those of people who surround them and harm them, that is why the Congressman Adames’s campaign grows more because of the rancor that is sown within the party members for this blackmail, threat, this intimidation.
