Former Foreign Minister of Peru says that the appointment of Lidia Patty must be rejected

Peruvian Luis Gonzales Posada, former foreign minister and former president of the neighboring country’s Congress, in dialogue with the RPP Noticias portal, criticized the appointment of former Bolivian assembly member Lidia Patty Mullisaca as consul in Puno (Peru)an appointment that he described as “insolence” against his country and that the government of Dina Boluarte must reject “on the spot.”

“The Government should have denied, from the first day he arrived, that appointment that it is insolent and disrespectful to Peru. The lady who has been named is a political agitator for Evo Morales, she is the person who denounced former president Jeanine Áñez for sedition and terrorism and asked that she be sent to jail and they sent her there, ”she said.

In this sense, Gonzales considered that it is part of a plan by Evo Morales to expand his influence in Puno and that the new consul “has no level” to hold the position. “In Puno, Evo Morales wants to put his varayoc (In certain Andean Quechua communities, such as Peru, an authority of Inca origin, which is in charge of the administration of justice for local communities) of Unasur, which is the territorial tearing of Peru , because in Puno there is a judicial process, Both Evo Morales and the governor of Puno have been denounced because Morales has a solid political base there.
