The Civil Police confirmed, in a statement, that former councilor Gabriel Monteiro appeared today (7) at the 77th Police Station (DP), in Icaraí, Niterói, metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro, where he went to fulfill the preventive arrest warrant issued. by Justice, due to a lawsuit to which he responds for rape.
The decision is by Judge Rudi Baldi Loewenkron, of the 34th Criminal Court of Rio de Janeiro. The case would have happened on July 15 this year. The judge ordered the confiscation of the accused’s firearms and cell phones.
Gabriel Monteiro had his mandate revoked on August 18, for breach of parliamentary decorum. Sexual and moral harassment, attempted rape were some of the accusations against the former councilor.
