The former president of Brazil Dilma Rousseff today expressed her support for her colleague Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and ruled out running for political office in the elections next October.
The former president assured on social networks that the relationship with her former president colleague “is unbreakable”, alluding to rumors of different origin based on statements by Lula on the electoral issue.
“It is useless to want to intrigue between former president Lula and myself,” Rousseff stressed and assured that she does not feel isolated within the ranks of the Brazilian Workers’ Party, led by Lula.
