Formal job creation in Mexico loses strength in April

In a comparison with the same month, but in 2021, the jobs that were generated were 0.03% higher.

The IMSS reports 21.01 million affiliated workers, of which 86.7% are permanent jobs and 13.3% are temporary.

The average salary registered was 473.9 pesos.

The economic sectors with the highest annual percentage growth in jobs are transport and communications with 11.9%, construction with 8% and extraction with 7.1% of the jobs created.

Tabasco, Quintana Roo and Baja California Sur reported the largest increases in jobs with a level above 16%.
