The fifth edition of the Social Encounter of Business of the Forestry Industry, promoted by the Bolivia Forest Chamber (CFB) closed successfully in Concepción, generating $ 2.8 million in business intentions and consolidating alliances between 40 companies in Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru and the United States. This event is positioned as the main space to promote sustainable forest management that combines economic development with environmental conservation.
For more than four hours of intense and virtual negotiations, 105 meetings between key actors were completed of the sector: from large operators to indigenous and peasant communities, who joined to strengthen a common agenda against deforestation, fires and avasallalamos.
Diego Justiniano, Vice President of the CFB, together with Mauricio Viera, Mayor of Concepción, highlighted the joint commitment to promote investments that contribute currencies to the country and protect natural resources.
