In the peasant community of Amancay, belonging to the district of Accha, province of Paruro (Cusco), a strong forest fire is registered, which affects the hills of Quellorumi and Sampopata, causing irreparable damage to native flora and fauna of the area, in addition to the unfortunate death of one person and seriously affecting two others.
Police personnel arrived at the scene of the incident together with Civil Defense personnel, verifying that the fire had been spreading with great magnitude through the sectors called: Ladera, Patillayoc, Sampocancha and Serenayoc; resulting in two injuries identified as Isaías Fernandez (39), and Jacinto Diaz (65), who were evacuated to the Accha health center where they were diagnosed with multiple third-degree burns and due to the seriousness of their injuries they were transferred to the city of Cusco for specialized care.
Likewise, as a result of the fire, the person of Elíseo Arotaype died, who would be a worker in an irrigation and sprinkling work of the municipality of Accha; In the same way, the fact was communicated to the prosecutor on duty in Paruro for the respective removal of the body and the environmental prosecutor of the city of Cusco was notified.
After the investigations of the possible author, it was possible to identify the alleged suspect of the forest fire that caused personal injuries, death and burning of native plants and others, who would be the person of Emilia Colque, the same one who was taken to the Accha police station for legal investigations.
The Police, community members and workers of the municipality of Accha made attempts to control and suffocate the forest fire of great magnitude, not achieving the objectivethe sinister had already reached an area of 150 hectares and continues to spread affecting native plants among others.
