Speeding would be the cause of a violent collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck. Two Venezuelan citizens are the victims (one of them dead and the other seriously injured) of this accident that occurred last Thursday night on the road that connects the provinces of Huancayo with Chupaca, exactly on the La Eternidad bridge. The mishap happened around 7:20 a.m. The minor unit with license plate 7243-IW that was going from Huancayo to Chupaca collided head-on with the lead truck with license plate W6K-715.

Due to the violent impact, the bodies of the two occupants of the red and white motorcycle were thrown. Their hooves flew about 35 meters away, witnesses said.
For several minutes the two occupants of the motorcycle were lying on the asphalt until the arrival of the ambulance. One of them, the motorcycle passenger, identified as Ángel Alexis Carrillo, did not resist and died on the track, before being evacuated to a hospital.

His companion who was driving the minor unit was taken to the clinic, where he remains with serious injuries. After the crash, the smaller unit was semi-destroyed. The lead van that went from Chupaca to Huancayo is owned by Federico Velazco, according to Sunarp; while the motorcycle is registered in the name of Darwin Pacheco.
