Santo Domingo. A foreigner was arrested at the Las Américas International Airport (AILA-JFPG) after it was detected that she was carrying dozens of bags filled with cocaine in his stomachin addition to others attached to her body and a portion in the vagina.
The arrest was made by agents of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) and the Specialized Airport Security Corps (CESAC), during joint inspection tasks, coordinated by the Public Ministry. The woman, with dual Bolivian and Spanish nationality, was planning to travel to Paris, France.
When subjected to the control process, the authorities detected foreign bodies in your digestive tractimmediately activating the corresponding protocol. By order of the acting prosecutor, the detainee was transferred to the Central Hospital of the Armed Forces, where she remained for several days until the expulsion of the material was completed.

According to the official report, the woman was transporting 97 bags in the stomach40 attached to the chest area and an additional portion in the vagina, for a total of 138 wrapperswith an approximate weight of 1 kilo and 341 grams.
The foreigner will be brought to justice in the next few hours, while the authorities investigate possible links with international networks that recruit people to use as drug trafficking mules. The packages were sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) for the corresponding analysis.
