The Peruvian Foreign Ministry reported this Saturday that, in coordination with the general consulates of Peru in Los Angeles and in Mexico, it managed the repatriation of three minors of Peruvian nationality from that country, after their mother was reported as disappeared.
This is the children of the citizen Sheylla Lisbet Gutiérrez Rosillowho arrived in Peru on a commercial flight from Mexico City. Upon arrival, they were received by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who verified that the process was carried out safely and under the necessary protection measures.
Through a statement, the Foreign Ministry highlighted the speed with which the operation was executed. “The intervention of the Foreign Ministry developed promptly and efficiently, prioritizing the protection of minors and protecting their well -being at all times”said the sector.
The Ministry stressed that coordination with authorities from the United States and Mexico was key to ensuring the timely return of children.
He also reported that he has established communication with the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations, in order to guarantee protection and accompaniment actions in favor of the three minors.
The Foreign Ministry also recalled that investigations around the disappearance of the mother of minors remain open in California, where it was first reported. In that sense, Tower Tower’s office remarked that he will continue to collaborate with the in progress.
