Foreign Ministry points out less conflictive points to leave Ukraine

At departures from Ukraine there are around 4,000 people waiting to travel, according to Foreign Minister Juan Carlos Holguín.

The border with Poland has been the most contentious. On February 27, 2022, for example, some military points decided, unilaterally, not allow the departure of foreign men. In some places, this restriction is still in force.

In a document posted on Twitter, The Ecuadorian Foreign Ministry reported the average time that a person must wait in line to cross the border. This, in order that students who have not yet left Ukraine can decide where it is convenient for them to evacuate.

According to the Ecuadorian authorities, the most agile place is in Slovakia, with a control that takes about four hours to cross.

On the other hand, among longest points some are located in moldovawho report more than 30 hours of waiting, as well as two controls Romaniawhich takes around 20 hours.

In the information exposed by the Foreign Ministry, Poland is no longer found, because, due to the unilateral closure, in some places of that border, there are Ecuadorians who are more than 4 days without being able to pass.
