The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yvan GilHe maintained that the only way to confront the aggression of the North American empire is with the unity of the 33 countries that make up the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).
From the VII Summit of Heads of State and Government of CELAC, Gil explained: “Power lies precisely in the resources that this integration has.”
He stressed the importance of the participation of the president, Nicolas Maduroby promoting the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) available to the countries that make up CELAC, because it is a mechanism based on solidarity and complementarity.
“The times ahead are very interesting and it presents us with a fundamental challenge, which the 33 countries will face together,” said the Head of Diplomacy.

On the other hand, he thanked the solidity of the president of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, who left his request to lift all unilateral coercive measures against Venezuela.
“We are very happy with the return of Brazil, after its absence in the last four years, and that gives CELAC strength,” stressed the foreign minister.
He emphasized that the participation of the Head of State was successful, since he has left the message very clear. “Only through unity will we be able to advance in this global geopolitical context.”
