The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Félix Plasencia, received the style copies of the new Nicaraguan ambassador to Venezuela, Orlando José Gómez.
The meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Caracas, was made known via twitter by Plasencia, who wrote “We received the Style Copies of His Excellency Mr. Orlando José Gómez, appointed by the Government of the sister Republic of Nicaragua, as Ambassador to Venezuela. We agree to continue working, in order to strengthen the ties of brotherhood and cooperation between our nations », Plasencia made it known through her social networks.
The Venezuelan foreign minister said that at the meeting it was agreed to “continue working, in order to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation between our nations.”
The diplomats discussed the historic friendly relations between the two countries, as well as issues related to bilateral cooperation and the geopolitics of regional integration.
Nicaragua and Venezuela maintain agreements, especially in energy matters, through PETROCARIBE.
