The British Foreign Minister, Liz Truss, announced this Sunday her candidacy to replace Boris Johnson as leader of the Conservative Party and Prime Minister, with which there are already ten deputies who aspire to the position.

The minister, who announced her decision in the “Daily Telegraph” newspaper, promises, like other candidates, to cut taxes and that, if elected, she will reduce them “from day one.”

Johnson was forced to resign last Thursday after more than 50 members of his Executive resigned in protest at his management and the scandals that dotted his leadership
