The chancellor rejected “war and bombers” in the Caribbean Sea.
Santa Marta has become the diplomatic epicenter of the region with the celebration of the IV Summit of Latin American and Caribbean countries (CELAC).
In this context of regional dialogue, the Foreign Minister of Colombia, Rosa Yolanda Villavicencio, set the bilateral agenda by announcing a key meeting with her Venezuelan counterpart, Iván Gil.
He said that the central objective of this meeting will be to address the situation of Colombian citizens who, according to the Colombian government, have been arbitrarily detained in Venezuelan territory.
This issue is positioned as a priority for Bogotá’s diplomacy within the framework of the Summit. Foreign Minister Villavicencio spoke about the international panorama, setting a clear stance regarding current war conflicts.
