Foreign Minister Gil meets with Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

The Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, at the headquarters of the United Nations (UN) in New York.

“On behalf of President Nicolás Maduro, we have had the pleasure of receiving the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, an outstanding friend of the Government and the Bolivarian People,” Gil reported on his Telegram channel.

He highlighted that at the meeting they reinforced their solid friendship and expressed their determination to continue working for a prosperous and supportive Caribbean, based on cooperation and mutual understanding.

Subsequently, the head of Venezuelan diplomacy held a meeting with the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, Ronald Lamola, in which they reaffirmed the close friendship and collaboration between the two countries.

“Both committed to the well-being of our people and the progress of humanity,” Gil stressed in another Telegram message.

During the night of this same Thursday, Gil also reported that he spoke with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, Mauro Vieira, about bilateral relations, as well as regional and global geopolitics.

This week, the Venezuelan diplomat met with various representatives of Eurasian countries, Asia, Africa and Latin America in the context of the 79th UN General Assembly.
