The Chancellor of the Republic, Yvan Gilheld a meeting with Palestinian Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mohammad Mustafa, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.
Gil reported through his channel on Telegram about the meeting, in which delegations from both countries participated.
“President Nicolás Maduro and the Venezuelan people have extended their solidarity to the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine, Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, with whom we had the honor of meeting during the 79th UN General Assembly,” the foreign minister said.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also highlighted Venezuela’s commitment to the cause of the Palestinian people.
“Venezuela will continue to defend the right of the Palestinian people to return to their lands, live in peace and enjoy self-determination,” Gil said.
