The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, participated in the commemorative events for the Qatar National Dayin the spaces of the embassy of the Arab country in Caracas.
“We feel honored to have commemorated, together with the ambassador Salman Al-Khulaifithe National Day of Qatar, in celebration of the unification of the country in 1878,” reported the high Venezuelan diplomatic representative on his social networks, where he published testimonial images of the ceremony.

In his message, the chancellor conveyed the fraternal greeting of the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, to the Government and people of Qatar, with the reaffirmation of the national government’s commitment “to care for and strengthen our bilateral relations and cooperation in all areas.”
Qatar National Day, also known as Founder’s Day, is celebrated annually on December 18, highlights the tourist site of the Arab nation on the internet.
According to the information, this holiday commemorates the unification of the country in 1878, the year in which Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani He succeeded his father and laid the foundations of the modern State of Qatar.
