The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Carlos Faría, participates this Thursday in the inauguration ceremony of the reelected president, Joāo Lourenco, and the vice president, Esperança Costa.
“We witnessed the Official Ceremony Investiture of the President of the Republic of Angola @jlprdeangola where we express a fraternal greeting from our President @NicolasMaduro and the People of Bolivar and Chavez”, reported the Venezuelan Foreign Minister through his account on the social network Twitter.
Earlier, he explained that he was received by the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Angolan Communities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Domingos Vieria Lopes.
“Our peoples are united by brotherhood, cooperation and mutual respect,” says the publication through which he informed about his arrival in Angola.
João Lourenço will be sworn in this Thursday after winning the August 24 elections. This will be the second five-year term.
