Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero highlighted on Tuesday the need to strengthen cultural, social and economic ties to deepen integration with Chile

We are here to reinforce that economic ties during the day, strengthening the bilateral relationship,” said Cafiero. at the opening of the Argentina-Chile Public-Private Meetingwhich he shared with the Chilean president, Gabriel Boric.

Cafiero stressed that it will be a “good time to share experiences and trajectories, to visualize opportunities. The start of these conversations will make it possible to generate new cooperation mechanisms.”

The meeting between businessmen that takes place in the Palacio San Martín will address issues related to production chains and bilateral economic complementation for international insertion.

The authorities will present their perspectives on the existing potentialities to promote binational productive chains that favor an improvement in production, employment and the global international insertion of both countries.

For the private sector they are part of the meeting representatives of more than 40 companies from both countries of the sectors of medical equipment and pharmaceutical products; energetic; metallurgical; knowledge and technology-based services; food and drinks; industrial and manufacturing; trade; Transport and logistics; mining; satellite; forestry and paper; cooperatives and entrepreneurs and businesswomen.
