For Tolosa Paz, the bonus for Potenciar beneficiaries will serve to register workers

Regarding the audit process of the Potenciar Trabajo plans, Tolosa Paz expressed that the decision was made to make it virtual because “the face-to-face audit was going to take five years.”

The Minister of Social Development, Victoria Tolosa Paz, maintained that the payment of the bonus for the beneficiaries of the Potenciar Trabajo program is an incentive for “the registration of workers in the popular economy”, and assured that the benefit is part of a policy that aims to “take care of the macroeconomy”.

“There are $13,500 for all the beneficiaries of the Potenciar Trabajo that will be paid in two times. Before Christmas, on December 21, and on January 6, for Three Kings. We continue to believe that it is necessary to work for the registration of workers. It is not a measure; there are many. All this is part of a decision that involves taking care of the macroeconomy,” Tolosa Paz remarked in statements to Radio Urbana.

The official and her Labor counterpart, Raquel “Kelly” Olmos, announced the payment of a bonus for workers in the popular economy.

Meanwhile, workers in a dependency relationship who have earned less than 185,000 pesos in December will get another bonus of 24,000 pesos.

Likewise, the Minister of Social Development assured that the Government’s decision is to accompany the payment of this bonus to the beneficiaries of the Potenciar Trabajo with the continuity of the Alimentar card.

Tolosa Paz maintained that the protest organized this Thursday by the Piquetera Unit (UP) is due to the fact that “they consider that the measures are insufficient”but he assured that the portfolio he heads is working to “reach all the sectors that today need the presence of the State.”

These measures include the bonus for retirees, the increase in the Alimentar card and the bonus for registered workers.

Regarding the audit process of the Potenciar Trabajo plans, Tolosa Paz expressed that the decision was made to make it virtual because “the face-to-face audit was going to take five years.”

“The Potenciar Trabajo requires a validation of the Renaper that is done virtually. There are 800,000 people who have already done it, out of 1.3 million (of beneficiaries),” the minister concluded.
