The report of the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) reveals that until this Tuesday, February 15, 414,548,893 accumulated confirmed cases of Covid-19 are reported in the world, of which 334,420,357 have recovered and 5,847,620 deaths have occurred for a lethality of 1.4%.
In Panama, 745,367 confirmed accumulated cases have been recorded to date, of which 1,714 are new cases. For the last 24 hours, six deaths are reported and four from previous dates are updated for a total of 7,970 deaths and a fatality rate of 1.1%.
3,120 new recoveries are announced for a cumulative of 719,801 recoveries. 12,815 tests were applied for a positivity of 13.3%.
Active cases continue to decline. 17,596 active cases are reported, of which 17,209 are in home isolation and 387 hospitalized.
Those in isolation are divided into 17,121 at home and 88 in hotels; those hospitalized are 329 in the ward and 58 in the ICU.
