The daily report of the National Fire Management Service (SNMF), dependent on the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, reported this Tuesday that there is no active focus of forest fires in the country for the second consecutive day.
According to the agency, the outbreaks that affected the Santa Fe town of Vera and Aluminé, in Neuquén; and Ayacucho, in San Luis, remain “contained”, that is to say that they maintain their activity, but due to the work carried out by the brigade members in the place, the advance of the fire was stopped.
Like the Lago Martín Complex, located in the Rio Negro city of Bariloche, where five planes work (four hydrants and one observer), three helicopters that operate from the bases of Bariloche and El Bolsón, a boat and support mobiles.
On the other hand, the SNMF report informed that the two outbreaks that were registered in the Corrientes areas of Ituzaingó and Caá Catí (Estero de las Maloyas), continue to be controlled.
Finally, the agency’s report specified that the flames in Fray Mamerto Esquiú, Catamarca, were extinguished.
