Two officials of the National Land Administration Authority (ANATI) and an individual are accused of influence peddling. The three defendants allegedly dedicated themselves to collecting extra money and underhandedly to expedite the procedures in the institution.

The Anti-Corruption Prosecutor, Olmedo Gómez, explained that a precautionary measure of provisional detention was requested due to the procedural risks that exist within the investigation, but the judge decided another measure other than preventive detention. Both officials and individuals must sign on the 15th and 30th of each month.

The two officials and the private individual are being investigated for crimes against the public administration in the form of influence peddling.
