NEW YORK.- A 37-year-old man held the door of a business in Brooklyn for another to enter the “Tobacco Road Corp” establishment, located on Fourth Avenue, near President Street in the Gowanus neighborhood, and when he did not receive thanks, he hit him.
Dozens of Dominican families reside in the area of the incident.
The two then got into an argument and the victim stabbed him in the abdomen and neck. Paramedics took him to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, but were unable to save him.
The unidentified deceased lived near the crime scene, police said. The attacker fled on an electric bicycle with the murder weapon and has not been caught.
