China on Sunday accused the United States of “double standards“, after President Donald Trump announced a additional tariff of 100% to imports from the second largest economy in the world.
“The relevant American statement is the typical example of ‘double standards‘” said a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce in a statement posted online.
- Trump restarted on Friday the trade war with Beijing in a dispute over new Chinese restrictions on exports of rare earth minerals.
