The vice president of the Communications Regulatory Entity (Enacom), Gustavo López, considered this Tuesday that the VII Summit of Heads of State of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac) should be used to “propose regional strategies”.

“The summit is very important. It is a meeting in which the Latin American and Caribbean states that play at home. This is a time for the recovery of democracy by the peoples and it is a good time to propose regional strategies,” López said in statements for Destape Radio.

the celac It will be inaugurated this Tuesday in Buenos Aires with the assistance, for the first time, of the presidents and representatives of the 33 nations that make up the forum and will be marked by the return of Brazil to the bloc.

“The election of (Luiz Inácio Lula) Da Silva in Brazil is what makes it possible to achieve balance in the region,” the official said.

Finally, the vice president of Enacom considered it important not to let go of “the restriction made by (former President Mauricio) Macri of the media law”

“I am not going to let four years go by without trying to modify the decree with which Macri curtailed the media law,” he concluded.
