Food stock is normalized in Lima wholesale markets despite the strike of carriers

While products like garlic, sweet potato, onion, potato and tomato have a stock of 100%.

For its part, the Fruit Market No. 2 of La Victoria shows an improvement in supply compared to yesterday. This Thursday, product stocks were at 78%. Among the fruits that increased in stocks are orange (from 70% to 80%), pineapple (from 60% to 80%), banana (50% to 70%) and avocado (70% to 80%), among others.

The Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation also reported that 5,782 tons of products entered the GMML this morning (-28% compared to the four previous Thursdays), while 2,715 tons arrived at the fruit market (-25% compared to the four Thursdays). previous).

In relation to this, this morning 650 trucks arrived in the GMML (22% less compared to last Thursday) and 135 vehicles (25% less) in the fruit market.

Regarding the supply of chicken in the collection centers of Lima, it flows normally. Today, the price of this bird was between S/ 6.52 and S/ 6.42 per kilo.

The main product offers were red head onion from S/ 0.78 to S/ 0.75 cents per kilo; Creole carrot from S/ 0.87 to S/ 0.77 cents per kilogram; purple sweet potato from S/ 1.28 to S/ 1.26 per kilo; Yungay potato (white) from S/ 2.03 to S/ 1.96 per kilo; potato cancan (color) from S/ 2.05 to S/ 2.03 kilogram, among others.
