Fondec: shortlist seeks re-election based on commitment to the cultural sector

There are two shortlists that are put to the consideration of the Chamber of Deputies. One of them is made up of Luz Borja, Graciela Meza and Susana Guillermina Fariña. While the other is made up of Maria Virginia Vargas, Julio de Torres and Lizza Bogado.

In this regard, V.argas indicated that he seeks his re-election since he considers that a period of three years is not enough to strengthen the work that is being carried out in the FONDEC Board of Directors.

He explained that 51 candidates initially presented themselves and after the coordinated and technical work of the Education Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, the shortlists that will be analyzed this Wednesday in the agenda of the ordinary session were established.

“Of course, there is a good choice. It seems fair to me.” said Mariví Vargas, in contact with Universo 970 AM of Nación Media.

He also pointed out that the idea is to continue for one more period, considering the commitment and responsibility that he showed during his tenure for the benefit of the cultural sector.
