FONAMUPP renewed its directive; Dalila Mosquera of the Alliance party, is the new president

Professor Dalila Mosquera, a member of the Alianza party, was elected as the new president of the National Forum of Women from Political Parties (FONAMUPP).

The election of the new board of directors and Court of Honor and Discipline, was held on Wednesday afternoon, at the main headquarters of the Electoral Court (TE) during a General Assembly of Elections in which around 100 members participated.

Mosquera expressed the importance of working together in unity, in order to continue with the empowerment of women’s political participation in decision-making spaces and promote, for the 2024 general elections, a greater number of women candidates in office. popular election. Mosquera is currently president of the Panamanian Association of Private Schools (APCP) and president of the Darién Chamber of Commerce for the Agricultural Industry and Tourism.

Within the new board of directors, the participation for the first time of young graduates of the School of Political Training, “Brújula Mujer Joven” stands out.

Such is the case of the architect Karla Sánchez de Gracia, from Molirena who was elected as vice president, Liseika Ruiz, from Panameñismo who became the new General Secretary of FONAMUPP. Ruiz is an architect and vice president of the National Elections Committee of the Panameñista Party and Carmen Osorio, also of Molirena, who will serve as Secretary of Minutes and Correspondence. Osorio has a degree in Occupational Health. All of them from the FONAMUPP youth.

The list called “representativeness” is precisely due to the integration of the different groups: PRD, Panameñismo, CD, RM, Molirena, Partido Popular, and Alianza, in addition to having representatives within the groups of disabled, indigenous and Afro-descendants.

The 2022-2023 directive is also made up of the vice president of the Women’s Action of the Popular Party (PP), Berta García, as Training Secretariat; Irasema Rosas de Ahumada (PRD), delegate of the party and director of the Directorate for the Elderly of MIDES, will also serve in the Forum as Secretary of International Affairs.

On the other hand, the lawyer and vice president of the Popular Party (PP) Jacqueline Hurtado (PP) is the new Secretary of Public Relations, The accountant, Migdalia Miranda (RM) will be in the Secretary of Finance, along with Licda. in Marketing Indra Araúz (PAN) who will be Undersecretary of Finance.

While Olinda Espinosa (PAN) and the engineer Milixa Muñoz (CD), both will be vocal. Meanwhile, the lawyer Vonetta Giselle (CD) was elected as the new prosecutor.

Likewise, the Court of Honor and Discipline will be made up of Mercedes Moscoso de Bonilla (PAN), Anna Solís (Alianza), Deyanira Pino (CD) and Kity Peña (RM).
