Eighth day of the Brazilian fisherman missing in the Laguna Merín. The intense search for the missing Brazilian fisherman in the Laguna Merín continues without positive results, in front of the area known as Punta Zapata, in the department of thirty -three. The operation, which extends for air, land and water, has the participation of personnel of the sub -prefecture of the Charqueada and the Prefecture of Rio Branco, who work with maritime and land media in the waters and costs of the Laguna. For its part, the Rural Security Brigade of the Police Headquarters of Thirty -Three collaborates with land patrols and horse. To this is added the air support of the Uruguayan Air Force, which displays drones of the remote sensor service and an aircraft to expand the search areas and cover difficult areas. Despite the joint effort of the different security and rescue forces, this Monday concludes the sixth day of tracking without indications of the missing fisherman’s whereabouts. The community remains attentive to the advances of this operation, which is carried out in complex conditions due to the magnitude and characteristics of the land.
