Folklore is in mourning, musicians pay tribute to those who died in the accident in Tarma (VIDEO)

The accident suffered by the members of Antología del Folklore on the Tarma – La Oroya road, where 9 musicians died, has brought mourning to the artistic community of the region. When the tragic news spread, they expressed their condolences and paid tribute to the victims.

The members of the Intergalácticos Engreídos orchestra from Peru gathered to pay tribute to their nine deceased colleagues and show their support for those who are seriously ill in the hospital. They mentioned that many of those who died were part of their orchestra. They held a minute of silence and tearfully played musical pieces.

Artist Karen Riques also used her social media to send a message of condolence. “It is very sad to wake up receiving this kind of news from people we appreciate, respect and who we had a very special affection for since our childhood. Today it was God’s will that they depart to eternal sleep.” Singer Maricielo del Perú and artistic groups such as Folkloristas Huancayo, joined in the expression of mourning and condolences.
