Brazilian airline announced new flights to Uruguay

The connections will begin to operate this season and will link Florianópolis with Montevideo and Campinas with Punta del Este.

The Brazilian airline Azul reported that it will have two new direct flights to Uruguay in the summer season.

One of the lines will be between Florianópolis (Santa Catarina) and Montevideo, while the other will connect Campinas (San Pablo) with Punta del Este.

The first will begin flying on Monday, December 16, and will stop operating on Friday, March 7, 2025. While the one in Campinas will open on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 and will travel until Sunday, February 2.

Flights from Florianópolis to Montevideo will take place on Mondays and Fridays. Takeoff times will be at 12:00 p.m. from Florianópolis, with landing at 1:55 p.m. in Montevideo. The return trip takes place at 3:10 p.m., arriving at 4:55 p.m. in the capital of Santa Catarina.

On the other hand, flights from Campinas to Punta del Este will be made on Wednesdays and Sundays, with departures at 9:25 a.m. from Campinas and arrivals at 11:55 a.m. The return will take place at 1:10 p.m., with arrival scheduled for 3:40 p.m.

Both operations will be carried out on Embraer E2 aircraft, with capacity for 136 clients.
