This Wednesday the governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, officially entered the race for the presidency of the United States.
The Republican presented his candidacy for the party primaries for the 2024 elections. In this contest he will face the magnate and former president Donald Trump.
DeSantis is known, supported and criticized by many since during his administration, he has enacted conservative laws that include relaxing the rules on gun possession, restricting the teaching of sexuality and gender identity in schools and also for toughening the electoral rules; in addition to limiting abortion.
