The trial of four defendants involved in the case of the death of Pastor Anderson do Carmo began at 11 am this Tuesday (12) at the Niterói Forum, expected to enter at dawn and possible outcome only in the early hours of this Wednesday morning ( 13) by the popular jury. 
Adriano dos Santos Rodrigues, biological son of former deputy Flordelis (accused of using a false document and armed criminal association); the affective children of Flordelis André Luiz de Oliveira (accused of using a false document and armed criminal association) and Carlos Ubiraci Francisco da Silva (triple murder, attempted murder and armed criminal association); former military police officer Marcos Siqueira da Costa (use of false document and armed criminal association) and Andrea Santos Maia, wife of the former PM (use of false document and armed criminal association). Flordelis will be judged on the 9th of May.
Of the 17 people listed as witnesses, seven had been heard by 9 pm, when Judge Nearis do Santos Carvalho Arce, from the 3rd Criminal Court of Niterói, decided to interrupt the proceedings until 10 pm, as a break for dinner. Five more witnesses were dismissed, leaving five to be heard.
The second witness to speak was Deputy Alan Duarte, who replaced Deputy Bárbara Lomba, also heard, in conducting the investigation into the murder. For him, there is no doubt about the motivations for the murder of Pastor Anderson.
“The dynamics of the facts are clear, in the sense of pointing out the former deputy Flordelis as the principal and the other family members involved as co-authors. Financial motivation was the main [razão do assassinato]”, said the delegate, after his testimony.
Defense
Flordelis’ attorney, Rodrigo Faucz, attended the trial and refuted his client’s role in the pastor’s death. Faucz maintained that she is being harmed, as there is a media prejudgment of her.
“The impression one gets is that there is a violation of the defendant’s guarantees, precisely because he has a popular interest on top. It’s a very delicate situation. She did not go [mentora intelectual do assassinato]. And, in addition to not having been, the Public Ministry has not proved, so far, in this sense. [A tese é] denial of authorship”, pointed out Faucz.
The interrogations of Adriano dos Santos Rodrigues were still planned; Carlos Ubiraci Francisco da Silva, known as Pastor Carlos, of former PM Marcos Siqueira Costa and his wife, Andrea Santos Maia, involved in the production of a letter in which Lucas Cezar dos Santos de Souza, Flordelis’ adopted son, would take the blame for the murder of the pastor.
On May 9, in the second session of the jury, in addition to Flordelis, his biological daughter Simone dos Santos Rodrigues will be judged; granddaughter, Rayane dos Santos Oliveira; and affective daughter Marzy Teixeira da Silva.

The Jury Court of Niterói sentenced, on November 24, 2021, Flávio dos Santos Rodrigues, biological son of former federal deputy Flordelis, to 33 years, 2 months and 20 days in prison for triple qualified murder. He was charged with the shooting of Pastor Anderson on June 16, 2019.
In the same trial session, Lucas was sentenced to nine years in prison in an initially closed regime for triple aggravated murder. He was accused of having been responsible for acquiring the weapon used in the pastor’s murder, but his sentence was reduced for having contributed to the investigations.
