Flamengo beat Al Ahly, from Egypt, this Saturday (11) by 4-2 and ended its participation in the Club World Cup in 3rd place. The duel was held at the Ibn Batouta Estadium, in Tangier, Morocco.
This was the first time, in three appearances, that the club from Rio ended its participation in the competition in third place. In 1981, he shouted champion and in 2019, he was runner-up.
Right at the beginning of the game, right-back Varela was knocked down in the area and suffered a penalty. At 10 minutes, Gabigol charged and opened the scoring for the red-black team.
