“Flamengo is a European team in Brazil, as it has all the structure and cast with a lot of quality. We will definitely fight for all the titles of the year. Impeccable structure, it leaves nothing to be desired for any team in Europe”, declared Pablo in an interview with Fla TV.

According to the athlete, the invasion of Ukraine by Russia influenced his decision to change teams: “A very difficult situation of war between two countries, makes our situation outside the country very difficult. With the sanctions on Russia, it makes it very difficult to send money to Brazil. There are a lot of people who need that financial part of the players”.

Another team to announce, this Monday, a defender who was in Russia was Atlético-MG. Galo has reached an agreement with Krasnodar (Russia) to repatriate Paraguay’s Junior Alonso.

The defender was an important part of Galo’s last seasons, playing 89 games and winning titles such as the Brasileirão (2021), the Copa do Brasil (2021) and the Campeonato Mineiro (2020 and 2021).
