Schools that have not finished rebuilding

Among the schools pending completion of their rehabilitation is Telesecundaria 548 “Fray Bartolomé de las Casas”, which is located in the Nuevo Canán locality, in Chiapas.

The National Institute of Educational Physical Infrastructure (Inifed) reports that this school has 99% progress in its reconstruction.

Another school pending reconstruction is the Conalep 11 “Aztahuacan”, of the Mayor’s Office of Iztapalapa, in Mexico City. Although 18.5 million pesos were allocated for his rehabilitation, he remains unattended, according to information from Inifed. This campus was severely damaged and there is still no date for its reconstruction to begin.

The rehabilitation of the “Emiliano Zapata” primary school, in Tetelilla, Guerrero, which suffered severe damage, began only in April of this year and, to date, has registered a progress of 49%.

In March 2022, the rehabilitation of the “Aquiles Serdán” primary school in Morelos began, and there is no completion date, but it is 99% complete, according to the school platform in the INIFED reconstruction program.

Another example is the “General Emiliano Zapata” primary school, located in Chiautla de Tapia, Puebla. It registers an advance in its reconstruction of 93% and its rehabilitation began in April of this year.
