Five people were apprehended red-handed, who had entered the Super Xtra in Calidonia, where they had stolen a large amount of money.
The men opened a hole and entered through the roof of the place where they had stolen the cash, as well as cell phone cards. The authorities seized tools that they possibly used to commit the theft.

Xtra Supermarkets regrets the security incident, unrelated to our operation, recorded in the early hours of this Sunday, March 12, 2023, at our branch in Calidonia, Panama province.
We appreciate the rapid intervention of the National Police and we are working closely with the authorities investigating the case.
In coordination with the security forces, we reinforce surveillance and security both inside and outside the store.
