Five members of criminal gangs were killed during procedures carried out in recent hours by security agencies, according to reports.
One of the procedures took place in the La Laguna sector, Coche parish, Caracas, where officials from the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) assigned to the Motorized Division were present. Two members of a gang that operates in that sector distributing drugs and charging for vaccines from merchants were killed at the site.
In that case, the victims, both 26 years old, are identified as Douglas Wladimir Zorrilla Pérez (Carlota) and Andriw Antonio Chaparro Molina (Cara ‘e Rata). At the scene, the agents collected two 3.80 mm Pietro Beretta pistols, the report says.
Also in Caracas, but in the Boquerón sector, officials of the Cicpc and the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) confronted members of the gang founded by Jeison Alexander Lorca Salazar (Jeison Comino), resulting in the death of one of them identified as Jesús Antonio Bernal. Delgado (El Cotejo), who at the time owned a .38 caliber Smith & Wilson revolver, according to a report from the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) 43.
In the Valle Morín sector, San Casimiro (Aragua), the military confronted members of the Tren del Llano criminal structure. In the fray, one of the criminals registered as Yosnaiker Antonio Estrada Olavarrieta (El Gandola) was killed.
Once the shooting was over, the officials collected a 7.62×51 caliber Light Automatic Rifle (FAL) at the site with a charger and two motorcycles, according to a report from the Rural Commando Detachment 42-1.
Another member of the Tren del Llano was killed in the Las Lajas sector, San José de Guaribe municipality, Guárico state, where the aforementioned criminal structure set up several cells.
In that case, the agents confronted the “Oscar de Jesús del Llano” cell, one of whose members was killed, known by the alias El Tigre.
During the procedure, the military seized a Browning 9 mm pistol with a magazine and a radio transmitter, according to a report from Detachment 341 of the GNB.
The Llano Train was involved in acts of violence in Guárico after a sector of the opposition was unaware of the results of the presidential elections where candidate Nicolás Maduro won.
The criminal gang leader Oscar de Jesús Noguera Hernández (El Diente) and his henchmen surrounded a school in San Francisco de Macaira (Guárico) where soldiers from the Plan República were present, who maneuvered to repel the attack.
The operation aimed at capturing alias El Diente and other members of the Tren del Llano is still continuing.
